Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy is issued by PFV Group Holdings Pty Ltd, ACN 698 190 439 (PFV, we, us or our).
2. Scope
This Policy explains how PFV handles personal information collected through pfvgroup.com.au and in the course of its activities as a holding company.
3. Our privacy position
PFV is presently within the small-business threshold under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, based on its current activities, is not presently required to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). PFV has voluntarily adopted the APPs as a best-practice baseline where relevant to its activities.
Each separately incorporated entity within the PFV group remains responsible for its own legal obligations and handling of personal information unless a documented shared arrangement applies. Forgepoint Operations Pty Ltd, ACN 699 579 952, and its registered business names may maintain their own privacy information and arrangements.
4. Information we may collect
- name;
- organisation you represent;
- email address;
- phone number;
- the content of your enquiry or correspondence;
- IP address, device and browser information, and website logs; and
- professional contact information for suppliers, advisers and business contacts.
5. Sensitive information
PFV does not seek to collect sensitive information (such as health or government identifiers) through the Website. Please do not submit sensitive or confidential information through any Website contact channel.
6. How we collect information
- directly from you when you contact us by email, phone or through the Website;
- automatically through standard website technologies (see our Cookie Notice);
- through trusted service providers that operate parts of our infrastructure; and
- through professional advisers where relevant to our business.
7. Why we collect and use information
- to respond to enquiries and communicate with our contacts;
- to manage supplier, adviser and business relationships;
- to operate, secure and improve the Website;
- for group governance and administration and record keeping; and
- to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
8. When we share information
Where relevant, we may share information with:
- controlled PFV group entities;
- trusted website hosting, email, accounting, work-management and Microsoft 365 service providers;
- legal and accounting advisers; and
- regulators, courts or other parties where required or authorised by law.
9. Direct marketing
PFV does not currently operate website newsletters or marketing subscriptions. Any future commercial electronic messaging will comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and will include sender identification and a functional unsubscribe facility.

11. Storage and security
PFV takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
12. Overseas processing
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Australia, potentially including the United States and other countries depending on the provider's configuration.
13. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law, after which it is destroyed or de-identified where appropriate.

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting info@pfvgroup.com.au.
15. Complaints
Privacy complaints should first be directed to PFV at info@pfvgroup.com.au so we can attempt to resolve them. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
16. Data breaches
PFV will respond to any eligible or serious data breach in accordance with applicable requirements and will use the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme as a best-practice baseline where appropriate.
17. External websites
PFV does not control the privacy practices of third-party websites.
18. Changes to this Policy
PFV may update this Policy from time to time. The current version applies to information we hold.
